mission of the Bar Matiz Pombalina is to give more joy to life, providing
leisure moments, in a casual, comfortable and welcoming environment. It is our
intention to provide a quality service to our Clients, through a taken care
relationship and the guarantee of the fulfillment of all rules of hygiene and
food security in force for our activity.
The identity of the enterprises and the way
the foreign entities look them, depends not only
on its performance of
financial-economical extent, but also on a set of beginnings and perceived
behaviors, and socially ethical practices.
The way we carry out our mission, depends of
our habillity to act while enterprise and while persons, and our approach to our
Clients, business partners, suppliers and other entities.
Standing for these goals, we find important
the existence of a set of ethical assumptions, in which we should review
ourselves.
The systematization of these assumptions
justify the creation of the present Code of Conduct, which integrates a set of
rules, which constrains our activity .
These rules applies all Employees of Matiz
Pombalina Bar, Lda., in this document designated by “ Matiz Pombalina ” or “
Enterprise “.
By “Employees “ must be considered the
Managing Partners and other
workers.
It is important to all to understand, respect
and act in accordance with this
Ethics code Statements, and everyone must be
reviewed in his philosophy, promote his diffusion, and to be a real example of
his practice.
Matiz Pombalina guarantees that the
ethics Code
will always be available to all Employees.
OUR VALUES
Entegrity
All the Employees have the duty to be honest
and act fairly with all interlocutors: clients, business partners, suppliers,
and other entities with of whom they might relate. The entirety is a posture
that goes forward the law and does not allow immoral practices. No worker can
offer or accept, any product or payment that could be understood like bribery.
Respect for the law and stand for the
human rights
It is a duty to the Enterprise and the
Employees to look after the strict fulfillment of the law.
Matiz Pombalina recognizes that the human
rights are considered basic and universal, on basis of the legislation and
practices internationally accepted. In this context, it must be assured the
respect for the individual interests and for the diversity, not acting in the
discriminatory behavior on basis of the race, nationality, age, religion, sex,
marital status, physical deficiency, political or ideological convictions.
Continuous improvement and development
of the human capital
Matiz Pombalina guarantee, to his Employees,
the basic rights of health, hygiene and security in the work, and respects the
balance between his professional and personal life. It will be assured that the
professional evolution prosecute based on acceptable criteria, like professional
competence, qualification, dedication and integrity.
The Employees must invest professionally, in a
proactive way, and update his knowledge, having in mind the maintenance and
improvement continues of his professional competences.
Conflict of interests
The Employees have the duty of loyalty to the Enterprise.
A conflict of interests can reveal when,
individually, the personal interests overlap the interests of the Matiz
Pombalina, restricting the objectivity a fair analysis of the situations. The
status that everyone occupies in the Enterprise, must never be used in personal
advantage. Whenever a Employee perform a processes of decision that wrap,
straight or in an indirect level, involves personal related entities, or with
whom he has already worked for before, it will have to inform the hierarchical
person in charge about that situation.
Confidentiality
All Employees have the duty of professional
secrecy.
The access to reserved information must be
managed in an appropriate way, preserving the confidentiality of subjects
considered critical. The use of this information must be performed only for
exclusive aims of work, in the context of the developed activity and in the
appropriate procedures.
Selection of partners and Suppliers
Matiz Pombalina will persuit its goals
selecting business partners and suppliers, who share the same ethical believes,
stated in the present Code. The suppliers' selection must not be performed
exclusively based on a financial-economically analyze or on an evaluation of the
capacity of the products and services, but also will have in consideration the
ethical behavior and the noticed practices, of the enterprises to contract.
Relation with the Clients
Matiz Pombalina guarantees to his Clients all
necessary services worthy and
committed , in strict observation of all rules of
Hygiene and Food Security, defined for the Sector.
Social responsibility
Matiz Pombalina assumes social
responsibilities managing his human capital and in it’s options while a part of
the society. While supporting our human resources and while participating in
activities of social character, or of cultural extent, we intend to stimulate
our conscience for these matters, to promote the feeling of social
responsibility and to contribute to the development of a civic attitude.
Illicit facts
Any Employee who knows, or suspect, of the
practice of acts that contradict the beginnings consecrated in this Code , shall denounce them, so that the investigation of the
facts may proceed.
Spread of the Code
It is managers duty to
guarantee the spread of the Code of Conduct, among the Employees. It will be
also available in the Site of Matiz Pombalina, for support of information to
clients, business partners, suppliers and other entities with whom the
enterprise is connected. |
